We may be based in the ever-lovely McMinnville, but we get around in Portland too! We are excited to be sponsers for this amazing non-profit whose mission is “to broaden knowledge of Portland past, present and future.” This organization offers unique, off-the-beaten-track explorations into Portland histroy, culture and politics. Check out what they’re up to here, and come help us support them at their annual fundraiser in Portland.
This year’s event is Monday, February 6th at Holocene, and will bring together Dill Pickle Club members, foodies, city leaders, musicians, artists and more. We have challenged 12 of Portland’s top chefs to create the “perfect pickle” – one will be crowned “Pickle of the Year.” There will be pickle tastings, live music, videos and more. All proceeds will support the organization’s educational initiatives.

We’re excited for this Winemaker Dinner with our friend Jerry Murray from Van Duzer wines at Allium Bistro. Pascal Chureau and Ian Ragsdale’s food is always amazing, and you know how the wines will be. Please see below for details about the series and for ticket information.
Join us for a one-of-a-kind meal, along with the rare opportunity to dine with esteemed winemakers while supporting four local children and family charities. The Classic Wines Auction’s Winemaker Dinners offer intimate evening settings in the Portland metropolitan area. Over three evenings, winemakers from Oregon, Washington, and California will pair celebrated wines with gourmet cuisine at 30 restaurants.Each dinner will host, on average, 20 people depending on the venue (see key below). All dinners will commence at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $150 per person (tax deductible portion is $65), gratuity included. Advance payment is required; no seats will be held without payment. Cancellations received after February 17, 2012 will not be refunded.
Proceeds from the dinners will benefit our four charities:Metropolitan Family Service, New Avenues for Youth, Friends of the Children – Portland and ywca clark county.
